Healer's Hills
Overview
"Go gather herbs with wizard's apprentice Norff."
After meeting Norff in Lodge Castor, Armic agrees to help him collect some herbs.
While walking around the hills, you will sometimes find herbs. When an herb is found, use the Action command on it from the Skills menu to pick it up. The herbs will be added to your inventory and can be used to restore HP and LP. After picking up your sevent herb, the adventure will end immediately and you will be taken to the Growth Panel developmetn screen.
Herb Variety
There are a total of sixteen herbs spread throughout Healer's Hills: one Blue, one Red, two Yellow, and fourteen Green. Green herbs are the least potent, and with the unlimited turn limit in Armic's story quest, it's best to aim for grabbing the four non-green herbs as part of your collection. There is one yellow herb in each of the northern and southern map, while the red and blue herbs are both on the southern map. Use the Healer's Hills map to see the location of each herb.
Making the Most
Armic's first adventure is quite simple, so it's easy to rush through it and miss out on a lot of optional progress.
Norff starts with two Magic Tablets, one he is already studying. This means you can earn study points for him by using Magic Arts in battle. While Thunderbringer is very powerful, it's not necessary for this easy adventure, so you may want to stick to using his Wood Familiar to conserve durability for now.
Armic comes with the Road Guide skill, which allows him to find the treasure bags strewn about the hills. They will never be locked and will only contain needle and/or poison traps, so you can easily open them without worry. Since Armic's story revolves around collecting items, it's nice to get a head start by picking up as many items and as much money as you can from the treasures here.
