The pacing of Innocent Life is so messed up. After all that excitement in the Summer, the fall has been pretty much nothing. I mean, I guess they expect you to have more money and resources so you'll be spending more on seeds and stuff, and have more animals now, so you'll spend more time on your farm and won't have much time for exploring ruins or whatever... and it's true I've had to spend a lot of time on the farm. But uh... The fact that there's pretty much 0 story at this point is really disappointing. No hints or anything...

Anyway, the next two weeks had very little to them... the mushroom cooking contest actually wasn't until the NEXT Sunday, so I just played two weeks at once...

Pretty much the first thing I did was go to look for 100g of Porcini mushrooms for Nana. They were a little hard to find and there were exactly 100g worth... but it wasn't too bad.

The persimmon trees also finally had ripe fruit for picking!

The Melancholy Woods kid is pretty messed now. They're now hospitalized and no one can figure out what is wrong with them.

I realized I had shipped all the fall crops by now, and went to find Liberta. Indeed I got new entries for the dictionary!

This was kinda funny lol.

... WTF Liberta. Are you broke? It's because instead of selling your product you just drink it all... XD

Life has been doing this glitch thing where when I try to go down the elevator from the farm to the room, he walks over to the dog elevator and goes down that?!?!? It's really weird/funny. It doesn't seem to hurt anything... I'm surprised the dog elevator even functions? I thought it was just there for show...

Another storm and I had to harvest kiwis XD Actually, the chilis and bell peppers came in on this day, too... I didn't have time for all of them so I just ignored the chilis. I still couldn't even finish the bell peppers before the night bell, but I got them all done soon after. Now the chilis and bell peppers aren't coming in on the same day anymore, which is actually pretty nice.

Though I'm getting pretty sick of harvesting chilis because they take forever and I'm considering just stopping them LOL

On the next week of M. Woods, the narrator finds out sister is alive???? It says the sister smiles and cries to see narrator is OK, but narrator says "But as for me..." as if they didn't feel anything upon seeing their sister. So I guess they've already been damaged so bad they can't feel happy that something good happened anymore? That was kind of the cliffhanger though so who knows.

Final Z has been funny again since Blue arrived; basically he just does a bunch of 'but we need to save money!' gags and it's pretty cute. They transformed into their Super versions, but Blue doesn't have ability to transform because his powers were made minimal to save on costs, and now he's feeling depressed...

In Wheres My Mommy, the fake mommy started telling her life story, but the kitten fell asleep because she didn't care LOL. Then the next episode, the fake mommy was mad at her for falling asleep and like... punched her so hard she flew far away and like... hit her head on a rock???? lol

Miss Cute has been overall pretty stupid, like this one ep a kid didn't want to eat their carrots and got scolded by their mom, so she turned them into a rabbit??? But uh in this episode, a kid didn't want to go to their track meet at school, so Miss Cute burned the fucking school down, I was laughing so hard XDDD

So uhhhh I'm starting to wonder if the reason Hope has been weird around life and doing the "nevermind" things... is because maybe he realized he's dying or something??!?! Vita said this very concerning thing at the Sunday checkup about how Hope hasn't been eating and isn't feeling well and she hopes I can appease the Fire Spirit very soon...

Then Hope acted like the contest was over and no one mentioned the contest after this and I never got to see it...??? So I was kinda freaking out and reset the game and tried going to the contest first. I guess that's what you have to do??? It was annoying playing the day over but the only crops I had to harvest were the bell peppers, and I just didn't bother making the mayonnaise and cheese.

Chuck was there eating! Maybe he was the judge? Apparently everyone just makes Salisbury steak for this contest, so it has become a s steak contest lolol. I love Chuck.

Then this time when I went to Hope's checkup, it was the same, but he added a little bit about how Nana won instead:

Annnddd that's about it. No more objectives, either... so I guess it's back to tending the farm :\ Maybe I'll get something when winter starts? I'm pretty sure the story is meant to wrap up by the end of the year, so... ??
