Hello, and welcome to my Play Diary for SaGa 2! Subtitled as "Hihou Densetsu" ("The Relics Legend"), this game is the second game in the SaGa series, originally released on the Nintendo GameBoy. It was localized into English under the title Final Fantasy Legends II since at the time, role-playing games hadn't gained a ton of traction to warrant introducing new brands to the west, and Final Fantasy was a well-known title already.
SaGa 2 expands on the game systems introduced in the first SaGa, keeping the theme of traveling between worlds. There are a variety of character types that grow in various ways, with a focus on the characters growing according to each player's style of play.
